Great Guild Elder’s Michael Rose, his spouse’s A. C. Rosbach and their descendants family Tomb.
Architectonic wall tomb with a Baroque-style metal door on a façade. The text of inscription is carved on the frieze of the cornice. Rose-Rosbach family coats of arms are included in the pediment of the tomb. On top of the covering, a naked reposing figure of Saturn leans his left hand on a skull, holding a sand-glass – the symbol of the passing time – in his right hand. Possibly, Saturn as the impersonation of time had a scythe in his left hand.
Inscriptions:
On the cornice frieze: ÄLTESTER MICHAEL ROSE UND SEINEN ERBEN ERBLICH / ANNO 1735 / RENOV: 1763 / d · Gr[osse] Gul[de]; below the coat of arms: M. Rose Ehefrau A. C. Rosbach.
